You're welcome. Hope you'll find it. Only other thing I remember from the MSI forums is someone where a thermal sensor triggered. I think that was in India though (aka pretty warm) and once he moved to a cold room, it worked.
Mine is watercooled, and the temps around around 20c in my room

I suppose that shouldn't be the problem, but I'll try to move it to another room and see biggrin.gif

Any experience with the May drivers and BIOS for the X99 A?

I got the MSI X99 Godlike Gaming, the first red version.

The may drivers are actually really good, I have had no issues so far with my 5960X, same settings as the previous BIOS and rock stable.

I can recommend them, based on that.

My took less than a month but other problems have been surfacing lately which prompts me to not want to get another MSI board. Was looking at a possible upgrade next year and MSI won't be on my list this time sad to say.

Hi guys, I am planning on getting an M.2 ssd. Is there something I need to know before installing windows? Any bios changes perhaps? Do I need to have every other drive disconneted while installing? Thanks!
I was hoping someone could help me with my overclocking my ram to the advertised speed of 2800mhz. I had my cpu clocked at 4.456ghz at 1.275vcore with an blck of 127.34 with the xmp profile enabled for some time now, dram timing mode set to "link, and set the timings to 16-16-16-36 with dram cha_a/b and dram cha_c/d voltage set to 1.2V. However, i think was missing around the dram reference clock and either left it at 200 or 266mhz. The computer didn't post, I had to use the cmos button. I am now unable to set the previous overclock and was if I messed up my ram or board or forgetting something in the settings. Before I had no problem with my cpu at 4.4ghz with a vcore of 1.255 and the dram set to 2666 by simply selecting the option in the dram frequency tab and but that doesn't work either. All 32gb of ram is detected bioos version is 1.9

Hi, process was pretty straight forward for me. You need to change to M.2 PCIe in the bios, and then just install Windows. Just be aware that only Windows 10 has built in support for NVMe, so you might need to integrate drivers or load them manually during the installation process if you are running earlier versions.

Never tried this though, as I'm using Windows 10.
