I redownloaded MouseTester as well - and TADA:

1000hz:

+REP for all of you - thanks guys! wubsmiley.gif

Now my muscle memory is ****ed up due to that faster speed hahaha!

That's still off, 1000hz shouldn't be this sparse on the points, check interval tab to ensure it's running on 1000hz

Well - and it 's back - as fast as I could on 1000hz @ 300 ms:

Edit:

I just tested this on my DELL M4400 Notebook with Windows 8.0 -> Exactly the same behavior.

Does someone still believes this is an user error? I suspect either the Tool not working exactly on Win 8 or Windows 8 bugging like **** or ... Well I'm out of ideas ... doesn't seem to be Drivers / System related at least.

Anyone running it properly on Windows 8.x ? That would be a start ...

Either you don't move your mouse fast enough, or your system are seriously ****ed up which drop massively count

I guess 300ms should be fast enought - seriously I can't force my hand to go faster - with that speed I can't even draw an "good" circle anymore (Hm). I either think it 's a Windows 8 specific problem - either related to drivers or most likely to the related to code in the testing software since the way that Windows 8 handles the mouse is different then before (which is described in the Link you provided). That 's the only thing I can come up with. Just for the sake of testing purposed I'll install Windows 7 in the next week and see if it 's any different on the same machine(s).

Cheers

My circle over Hien(42cm x 33cm) still managed to get 80 at peak. I know Qck are smaller so, just try to a full force swing across the mouse pad so we can have more accurate result.

I have the extra large version (it 's really old so I can't tell exactly which version) - which is approx. 44cm x 39cm so it 's the other way around wink.gif ...

but here you go:

Full swing 1000 DPI - 1000hz

Yeah, this picture looked a lot normal now.(Sitll circle motion?)

Aside from some jitter it's definitely what a 'gaming mouse' should look like

Maybe I'm having pakinson that 's why I'm expecting Jitter. Anyway thanks for the help.
I'll still install Win 7 next week in Dual Boot and see if there are any different results just to be sure. biggrin.gif
