Suggestion to modify SMH10 pedestals front body unit

I think there was similar suggestion, maybe not for the same purpose but I thought I would ask anyways. I have smh10 with pedestal with additional cover plate to keep radiators heat away from main system. I love every aspect of that combination but I do have a suggestion that I never thought I would ask for, that would make a lot easier for anyone who is considering using pedestal for 2x 480 and bigger radiators.
I have 2x480 Black Ice GTX radiators and they fit down there perfectly but there's a lock of room specifically getting there to create drain port which is the lowest spot, yes I'm sure you could drill ugly hole and run tube through the front plate but that would spoil the beauty of the case, there's just no way of doing it unless you have one radiator 360 than you can create port on the side I guess, but then you still really limited the way you can access the inside pedestal (maintenance, dusting the radiators ext.)
As you can see on the side that small space its not enough to even stick your finger to it.

What I did, I have cut a square opening, big enough to fit large size hand, then of course you use the lid to cover the opening once you done with whatever.

It would be great to have that already done up, even creating the front main part of the pedestal that you can exchange, not the lid that you attaching to the unit but the body unit itself.

If this is in the wrong section of the forum I apologize, please move to appropriate section.
Thank you

We have been considering creating a removable plate for the rear, but I suppose it would helpful in the front too. There is a number of projects we are working on, but this is something we may consider.

On a side note, could you not run the radiator with the ports at the rear? You could drain out the back of the PSU cut-out. This is exactly what I did with the Toxic build.

The fitting on the bottom right has a stop in it and rotates around then drains out the back once the stop is removed. I dont even need to tip the case.

I suppose you could drain at the back but than there are few things to consider, might be even more with others:

1. My case will be on my huge desk, back facing the wall, (that's just my preference) Ive always liked my towers on my desk and I will drain and clean my system every 6 months, so having that front access will be just so easy and convenient (blessing) even if I had my case on the floor, still reaching to the back sometimes it's not the most comfortable.

2. NEMESIS radiators have only 2 ports and the way I planned all my acrylic tube routing having them facing the back by PSU vent would totally change the appearance of what I'm going for.

Thank you

Good points.

I guess I'm not the only one who feels that there should be some sort opening out front to be able to work inside pedestal, I just came across that, I'm sure someone have already suggested.
Yes it's a different case but the same principle applies.

I am getting a STH10 with a Pedestal also and I have a question. can you remove the front of the pedestal to work inside it?? because i am going to put 2 560 in it also and wanted to know how i would run the tubing up and hook all the tubes up. i know i can have everything done before i put it on the case but would like to use bulk head fittings between the pedestal and lower chamber and also be able to keep them completly seperate.. hope you understand what i am asking
I think making bid square opening the way I did would be really nice... OK......Done

BTW. I Just got the chance to look at your Toxic build..Very Nice
