After running Diskfresh, there is a 2% improvment on the average speed , there is a much reduced variance

This is my 840 Pro 128. I've had it for about a year and a half. Not sure what the graph shows but looks like it's good!

Here's what I'm getting with one of my 840 (non evo ) drives. Anyone any ideas if Sammy will release a fix for the non - evos?

I hope someday soon, someone will post 850 (non-evo) disk results. Samsung is not very vocal with its customers in all of thier products so I like to hear from the users of the 850, good or not so far? Still considering a buy from either company because both companies have a 10 year warranty now but one has very little communications, waiting...

Thanks. Just sent email to samsung support to ask for update.....

I've just had a response from Tech Support in the netherlands. They know nothing of the issue and don't know of any planned updates for the 840 basic. They asked if I could provide the link to the statement from Samsung on the actual german samsung website. Does anyone have it?

They're going to contact Samsung HQ to see if they know anything.....

I've decided to collect a graph every Friday and put the history into an animated gif. Here's a three-frame version showing that there has been no degradation in the four weeks since I did the upgrade on my 840 EVO 500G.
