Hey all, what kind of TDP can i expect from a 5ghz+ 5960x? I know it deppends on the Voltage you put through it but maybe you could shed some light on what temps do your ones output and with what cooling? Thanks for the help.

From the clocks I've seen, you're going to hit a thermal limit before you can push the 5960x to 5.0+ unless you're on LN2. Chips look to get realllll toasty around 4.6+
Thanks for the replys, ill be using a cascade on the chips for high Mhz but i was planning a dedicated water loop consisting of 2 pumps and 2x 480 rads for every day use
Even if not temp limited, most need 1.5+v to even get a screenshot of 5ghz on liquid, haswell e just doesnt overclock as well as haswell/dc, at least not so far. So far havent seen anyone even able to bench 5ghz on liquid, let alone stable enough for normal use.
Nope... its not. Unless you have a golden chipl

You'll probably be able to do 5.0GHz with the cascade depending on the chip. Then probably 4.6-4.7 with that described loop, again, depending on the chip
bring it on and over to HwBot... I need some competition that isnt @Joa3d43
