Updated work:
Most of the false buttons installed.
Power switch mounted.
PC hardware reinstalled.

Still lots of work left:

1.False black button over the D-Pad (we need black paint)
2.BMO stencils to be cut and then black "BMO" painted on both sides
3.Arms and legs still need to be created.
4.Fill and touch up around monitor screws.
5. Power strip
6.Speaker Mount
7.Power Supply Mount
8.Proper motherboard tray
9.Hinge the back and attach with a latch
10.Find an appropriately cartoonish chair for BMO to "sit" in

As for number 3, I could use some suggestions from the community. We have two ideas in the works. First, we could go get an over sized Mickey Mouse (we live 30 minutes from Disney, this should be pretty easy) and use his arms. Under this scenario, I would drill an appropriate sized hole in the "O" on the sides, and hot glue the end fabric of the arm to the inside. Then straighten out a thick metal coat hanger, and work it down to the hand to provide some rigidity. The other option is to use pool noodles in essentially the same fashion. The pool noodles might be more appropriately shaped, and provide a better end result, but the amount of work, variables, and finding proper colored pool noodles in November make this proposition the harder of the two roads. Everything that we do for the arms will be repeated for the legs

If this build lasts til January when it is time to upgrade my personal rig, BMO will be getting an upgrade to a watercooled 5ghz 3570k +7970. But that is just speculation. The 6400k struggles with emulation in Dolphin, so we will likely do a processor swap at bare minimum before we call it finished.

A not so little update to this project...swapped out the AM2 and 6400k for a Z77 and a 3570k. And added water cooling. I have my 980s in RMA right now, but when they get back, BMO will be receiving Xfire 7970s....should be enough for the kids to tear into my Steam collection at 1024x768 biggrin.gif

No res in this build

To Do:
Fan splitter
7970s
micro res
fill port
add SSD
test speaker location, install
