Special Carbine is very accurate actually. Just one tap away at enemies head, don't even waste your time shooting them if your crosshair isn't on the head. Otherwise you waste time, and ammo.

Close to Medium Range - Use AP Pistol

Medium to Far Range - Use Special Carbine

Helicopters - Use Special Carbine/RPG Only use Homing Missile if you have to.... You're spending way less money on a RPG if you're high enough level to use one.

No need to use the Homing Launcher for Coke because whoever is the passenger in the Helicopter should be taking them out. Not the guys on the boat. Use a Special Carbine and take out the driver.

Prison Break - Destroying Police Helicopters only brings more of a risk. You do not need to blow up the helicopters before the plane takes off, blow the helicopters afterwards.

So… how do you survive getting inside the plane while helicopters are shooting at you?

For Coke, I understand, so you don't land the helicopter on the boat in the first place. I never thought of that. Normally every time I do it the pilot tries to land, and it ends up messy almost all the time because there are like five dudes on the helipad all shooting away at you.

You should have plenty of health/armor before you even enter the plane. When leaving the prison, you steal the Armored Truck that's parked inside the prison. When you enter it, you get free armor. You drive straight to the airfield, or have your pilot land on the road that leads to the prison. You just hop in the plane and leave. Everyone just has their snacks menu up while getting into the plane/in the plane. You really don't even need it up though, as you shouldn't even get shot up much. I've never had anyone who I played with died getting on the plane/dying while taking off....

For coke, you just land the helicopter after everyone is done getting the coke.

Fail of the year:
I just botched the Fleeca Job finale because my character would not put the mask on. Without mask you cannot enter the bank. Time ran out and the teller called cops. Had to restart.

Good job.

There's an excellent chance I will get addicted to this game reality, so I haven't tried it yet despite pre-ordering. I'm working on finishing TESV for the 1st time 1st.

I bought about 10 games on origin/steam about the same time, hardly started any of them yet, and as for FC3 and crysis3, I'm waiting till I get a better GPU setup than r9 290 CF on this rig

Waiting to have something better than 290x2 for any game is pretty silly if you ask me.

About Criminal Mastermind, I wouldn't do it for the money, it seems like a person can reach the money ceiling pretty quickly, the only thing I don't have that I want is a Savage/Buzzard and after that it will just be more cars, that won't be used for racing.
I am Rank 85 and I have a Hydra, Insurgent non-pickup, Entity XF, about 9 other cars with around 150k in mods each, not counting their buy price.
Profile says I've spent $11M and 165 hours played, if you want to make a big purchase (2-3m) then do the All in Order challenge which is very simple and gives you 1 million dollar bonus, and just do what you find fun for the rest of the money.

I played Far Cry 3 on GTX 550ti (around 60 FPS)...DON'T BE CRAZZZZZY! tongue.gif

Crysis 3 will run nicely on 290 Crossfire, don't be funny man biggrin.gif

Unless you are not playing for some other reason smile.gif

I have 2X Sapphire tri-x 290 (soon to be 3X when I get the watercooling parts) paired with a 5930K @4.5 and I manage to play GTAV at almost a constant 100fps (dips down to 85-90 in certain instances). This is at a resolution of 2560X1440. So yea, I think crossfire 290 are still doing pretty well. For those of you curious, my graphics settings are as follows:
  • Vsync: Off (Forced on in Radeonpro, with monitor refresh forced to *200Hz -*bug in RP halves monitor refresh, runs at 100Hz Lightboost profile)
  • FXAA: Off (Forced on in Radeonpro to the ultra setting)
  • 2X MSAA
  • Texture quality: Very high
  • Shader quality: High
  • Shadow quality: High
  • Reflection quality: High
  • Reflecton MSAA: Off
  • Water quality: High
  • Particles quality High
  • Grass quality: Normal
  • Soft shadows: Soft (could probably bump this up with Post FX on normal without too much of a hit, but I'll have to test it.)
  • Post FX: Normal (This setting makes a huge difference to fps stability. On high fps avg is around 90-95, jumping from a low of 75-80 to a constant 100. On Normal, fps avg is much closer to 100 with dips only dropping to maybe 90 at the lowest.
  • Anisotropic filtering: off (Forced to 16X in Radeonpro)
  • Ambient occlusion: off (I haven't heard of them fixing this to work, so I haven't tested it)
  • Tesselation: High
  • Advanced graphics: All off except high detail streaming while flying

This is the smoothest, and best looking settings I've found for the game so far with my system, I can turn everything up and maintain an avg of 65-70fps but once you experience the smoothness of a lightboost enabled monitor with a constant +100fps it's very hard to go back to anything else. In BF4 @1080p thanks to mantle, these cards can maintain 100fps without batting an eye with everything on ultra/cranked to 11.
