But you do have members here who specialize such as in psu's and my tip would be look out for their answers, they don't exist on here to have the peeve taken out them, in other words they will aim to give you the best answer with their credibility at stake

The review sites out there and these are favourites of mine - .hardocp.com, anandtech.com and .guru3d.com

But what any review site wont have is the feedback from prolonged use like i, you have! So i use Amazon and Newegg as another tool thumb.gif

amazon and newegg comments are very famous for being fake. I am not saying all are fake but a lot of those comments are fake.

As I mentioned Samsung is funded for attacking htc with fake forum comments, we need to know that even giant company like Samsung pays marketing company to do that kind of dirty work.

I think you should talk to a professional about your paranoia issues. Some therapy might be good for you.

Yes. You aren't thinking rationally, there is no arguing with you. You think the whole industry is corrupt and all reviewers are shills. Even though the best reviewers have clearly outlined test methods and anyone can replicate their results, you think it's all a conspiracy because one tiny retailer in France says Seasonic has a slightly higher RMA rate than other companies. And you of course believe RMA = failure even though everyone who deals with customer service knows that is not remotely true.

I am not saying the tests are fake in reviews, but the reviewer can choose to show what and not to mention what, and totally subjectively saying what is good and what is bad then give you a suggestion. If we are just talking one RMA rate report then it may not has good meaning, but we are talking about 10 RMA reports in 5 years, if we see a constantly result from it then it has good meaning.

What do you mean by TL;DR

I randomly pick a link from the faq post suggestion
http://www.hardocp.com/
I click "PSU - Power Supplies", I see two big ad banner and the only PSU ad with the name Seasonic or Corsair on it
then I read many conclusion of Seasonic or Corsair psu reviews of this website
All reviews I read of these two brands are at least passed, no fail at all. Most are honored with Gold or Silver
I click other reviews, fail happen a lot for any other brand PSU

I haven't done this kind of testing for other review website links in faq yet.

What does this mean? You can decide it. I just want to show that just reading "expert" comment to decide which PSU to buy is nothing better than listening to "expert" in CNBC to decide which stock to buy.

Some people may believe in these kind of "reviews" too much and argued with me that Seasonic is just superme and that RMA rate is fake or whatever, I hope what I just point out can help you out.
Oh for crying out loud! Will you ever stop seeing conspiracies and corruption everywhere when it comes to PSU's? Do you even realize ads are TARGETED, meaning the ad-service will show you ads from products you've shown particular interest in? Guess what, I don't see a single PSU-ad on that site. You're seeing them because of your obsession.

Also, I read the conclusions on the other brands. What I saw, was silver-silver-silver-gold-silver etc. You're completely ignoring the truth, and make your own because you found one or two that did not get a silver rating.

I'm sorry if this seems a bit harsh, but in the last few days I've been following your threads, and it's always the same story. Conspiracies, corruption, 80+ rating is complete rubbish blah blah blah blah blah. And then you refuse to listen to anyone, even though many of them have far, far more insight in the matter than both of us.

The ads in that website at the location I mentioned in psu page are just very few choices within its own database. These are always OCZ, Consair, Seasonic, Amazon.
I agree a lot of people read a lot of "reviews" and more than me, so they have their "favor" already after being brain wash too many times.
