Logitech g302 soon? - Page 106

Sensor is pretty much the same BUT the G302 has internal memory meaning you don't require the logitech G software to be active at all time, allowing you to use your dpi of choice without interpolation. For my money these are the best Mouse 1, 2 and 3 buttons out there, only rivalled by the G9x's.

Hmmm......interesting. So overall it should be an upgrade i guess. I tried searching this thread for images comparing the g100s and g302 side by side, and could only find top view comparison only. Wish there were shots comparing their sides.

G100S has native steps of 250.
So 500 and 750 CPI for example is possible without interpolation on the G100S.

Notice how easy you could do this with G100s and how unwieldy G302 is. G100s' design both finger and palm is helping each other to move the mouse, and G302's design forces them to fight each other.

The more force you put in one the more force you have to use on other side to fight back. which in turn forces original one to use more force.

Well, that just shows that shape is different for everyone. I can do both comfortably. Maybe it's because I'm used to the shape now, initially it felt weird for me too. But to be honest I don't feel like it's an upgrade over the G100s shape, it's just something I'm just as comfortable with.

Used it for 3 days before returned mine.
The shape destroyed my hand, was impossible to find a comfortable grip.

G100s is perfect shape in every way for my fingertip grip, but the lack of sidebuttons make the mouse useless for me sadly.

^ I agree. The shape is pretty unorthodox. It's kind of like a heavier Old Abyssus.

I think logitech thought that the g100s shape was too cheap looking. So they made the shape fancy for g302.

isnt this mouse the replacement for the G3? why the F does everyone keep comparing it to the G100s?

G102 is comming im sure, they still have to fill that budget ass price gap between $20-50

I don't know too. But I don't think there will ever be a g102.

the g402 and g302 are using the g100s's sensor. I would be surprised if they released a g102 with the same sensor as the g100s, but i guess its possible.
