Gone to the file location and configured the exe to always start in administrator mode?

Also, you're not locked to using firestorm, so why really care?

Okay, so that's a good a couple good reports. One more and I'll be willing to risk it. It looks very easy to do.

Awesome work and +reps all around.

Is this helping anyone keep their voltages at 1.21, or is it still fluctuating?

Running Vanilla GTX 970. I may just keep this card now lol. Only thing troubles me is that minimum FPS. Gonna run it again..

Running omega edition and same clocks like you and i get 2550 and 62 fps. I have intel 3770 and in AC4 Black Flag i saw on moments cpu load on 100%. Is cpu bottleneck?

When I check the bios for the extreme it already says 345W for the max 106% TDP limit. Is there something else I have to change in the new bios to get away from this 160W limit?
Tweaking the bios will only help with the vanilla zotac 970. The voltage and posslibly the power limit with the omega and extreme are controlled via the microusb.

Just thought some more about it. How about setting the minimum of the TDP in the bios to some higher value?

I managed to raise the power limit to 150% and can run the standard Zotac GTX 970 at constant 1449 MHz without any issues so far. Only need about 130% power limit for that and there's no throttling. If I want to clock any higher I run into voltage problems like most people do.

Good job everyone involved in making this possible! thumb.gif

Does your voltage stay locked at 1.21V during full load? That's what I'm wondering.

My cpu is running at 4.8ghz, if you haven't already try to oc the cpu.

As soon as my GPU hits 130% tdp it down clocks a little to keep it under that.

Yeah, I think the vanilla Zotac is hard locked at 130%. As in that's the max tdb of the card.
