I ordered two of those as well. I can't recall ever owning a Zotac, but I'm not really strongly attached to any specific manufacturer.

Ordered one as well, I like the smaller pcb and after some google-research, it seems zotac customer support is quite good (fast RMA + lifetime limited warranty + many people got equal-value replacements when the card they were RMAing was OOS). I hope it doesn't bite me in the ass.

Ya i pick mine up tomorrow. It is clocked lower out of the box compared to other non reference cards but hopefully i can OC it decently.

Bought a ZOTAC GTX 570 years ago when they just came out. Had an ASIC of 94% and the thing OC'd like a champ even on air. I then bought a gigabyte version and it died on me within months and couldn't even hold its own out of the box OC.

So based on that one experience, I'd say they are good but that is a limited test set and I haven't tried their RMA service so I cant comment on that either.

How are you liking the card(s)?

Got mine today. Originally had some worries, but not anymore. Card feels high quality, is surprisingly small, and still runs at only 60-65C in games with minimal noise. Also hearing good stuff about their customer support. I like it.

Have not tried OCing yet -- perhaps the smaller fans will become a limitation.

Try overclocking it yet? I was following on Reddit, some other guy with the Standard Zotac 970 got 200mhz+ with no voltage increase. I'm liking the sound of that.

That's not bad. I bought the standard 970 and plan on water cooling it. Not yet sure if I will go with a universal block or full cover, but voltages should stay close to stock either way.

I also pulled a trigger on a smallish Zotac GTX 970. It is only 210mm in length. I like its minimalistic design it is not kitchy.

CREATOR: gd-jpeg v1.0 (using IJG JPEG v62), quality = 90

I also read good and fair things about Zotac on Reddit. I hope it will be performing also like that. Looking forward for experience to share and hear from others. Hope some Zotac community will be established online

So I also have the regular Zotac 970. I bought a pair of them on the Egg a couple of days back when they were the only 970s in stock.

I love their small size and the cooler gives it a really nice look. Its does seem to be a high quality part. I installed one last night and played around with it only for an hour or so. Upped power limit to max (106%) and Bumped it up +200mhz with a boost clock of 1402mhz. Hitting the power limit and notice it getting power throttled in heaven.

Can't wait to see what it can do with an unlocked bios! Hoping to get it to 1.5Ghz.

Once I have more time I will take pics and show screenies. Probably this weekend.
