Non-Reference GTX 980 - Page 60

I'm personally not happy about the price either, but will still be getting just one. Being a Canadian, I will end up paying out the ass for one, or having to wait a few months. So $785 CAD + $65 CAD shipping. Let's see if UPS also charges duties on top of that, shall we? That's $850 CAD, without tax, without duties (Which are hopefully only the taxes). Seeing as tax is 13% here, that's $960.50 CAD without including the possible extra duty fees because UPS is oh so awesome like that (And EVGA's only courier choice for me). That's nearly $300 more than a reference card ($700 - $740 CAD after tax and shipping)

By the end of this post, I'm really thinking I might just pass actually. EVGA, you bastards. Even if I buy one, I hope others aren't so careless. The only reason I might get one is that I don't plan to upgrade again for a few more years when 4k is cheap and caught up.

Yikes. UPS? That's going to be brutal. No exaggerating. Could be several hundreds in "brokerage" fees. Never use them if other options exist. Definitely not worth it.

If anyone gets a 980 classified after all this wait and plans to put it under water, you may have to wait a longer (If your planning on using an EK block)

Dear Customer

Thank you for contacting EK Support.

Due to recent amount of work with several other blocks and items, we are not planning to make any new water block for this hardware in near future.
However if we change our plans we will publish that under news section.

If you need any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Lep pozdrav, Kind regards, MFG!

Is there any more info on the hydrocopper? Is it just a binned regular PCB 980? Or does it have a non reference PCB like the classy? Just curious since it clocks higher than the classy
