Non-Reference GTX 980 - Page 10

There is no point buying a classy if your stuck on air guys. Yeah its better than the reference but as soon as you volt mod your vrms gets well hot and you much wasted potential. If i was on an air setup i really wouldnt bother with a classy tbh.

Tbh i may just wait for GM200 know tbh. Im busy anyhow for next few weeks and ive just bought myself a Nitro based RC car to take to the park on the weekend. That should keep me busy for a while thumb.gif

I'd have to agree TBH.

Besides, if a reference card can do this, do you really need the extra potential? tongue.gif

Especially when you'll just be toppled by water users.

Not a waste at all. But I see your point.

Within 3-6 months they will probably have GTX 980 Ti Classified or GTX 980 Ti Clasified KingPin extreme cooling edition.

I've had my 780 Classy on air for 12 months, but only paid $438 for it after using up 2.5 years worth of evga bucks from folding. Kept waiting for the Entho Luxe to drop, then along came 780T lol. Figure I'll finally put it on water and ride it out till 20/16nm since I'm only on 1200p @60hz.

Count me into that list.. the bonus is the ability to unleash them when I want.

Wait.. what? Also MFAA?

add: also someone who understands this unlike me at the moment - will there be a TI and what I mean by that is, will it be larger/bigger than what we have today. I'm getting real confused right now with some saying this is it until next Gen while I'm personally at least expecting a larger TI / Titan variation still to come? I don't want a 980 anything if the real deal is coming afterwards (980 TI Classy).
