What was she doing on the PC that caused her to dig her fingernails into the mouse like that??? Maybe one of the reasons she's you "Ex", huh? biggrin.gif

1. for my, the feeling of DA2013 always was better then 3310 or 3090. Also in smoothing subject i prefer DA13 sensor (small diffrent but ...).
2. First impression of using of chroma is very well, i thing its even better than DA13. Especcially in higher DPI (but i play usually on 800 DPI)
3. Foto of sensor inside Deathadder Chroma (click for original - 6Mb):

4. weight (someone ask for it): - 98g without cable:

Best regards for all addicted

Thank you for opening up your Chroma because I don't have the guts to disembowel mine. Although the current Chroma is the BEST ever made Razer DA released because it's near perfection (shock and horror of this statement).

I typically thought they'll release a carbon copy of a DA2013 but in fact the casing is firmer to hold (I can't make it squeal when squeezed) because of increasing the casing structure the mouse is a little heavier but that doesn't bother me at all.

Razer is conservative with their popular series mouse but when you've made a good input device, just keep on refining it over time.

Do you guys think I should give this mouse a go? I'm looking for something closer to the IE 3.0 shape wise.

I'm currently using the G502 and I love the sensor, but not the shape. Weight of the G502 doesn't really bother me at all, or the scroll wheel, just the shape itself, otherwise I really like the G502 performance wise.

Is there anything else you guys would recommend IE 3.0 shape wise with a sensor that's close to the G502?

That pretty much leaves the DA Chroma or DA2013. The front of the rival is very IE3.0'ish, but the back end is way different.

Yeah, thanks DivineDark.

I thought I also read about an Asus mouse, can't recall the name of it, but I think I read somewhere it uses the same sensor as these Razor mice? I thought someone mentioned the shape is IE 3.0ish.

I think I might try a DA Chroma when it's available here. Apparently it's not due for release here until December 1st for some reason. Would I still get warranty if I ordered it from Amazon, or should I email Razer and ask that question?

It's called the gladius and it comes with some pretty cool features IMO. The cord is detachable and they include two. One is braided and the other isn't. They include an extra set of feet and an extra pair of omron switches that are socketable.

Thanks for the info. Sounds good. How does it perform? Is it out yet? And is the shape close to the IE 3.0?

Should be out soon. I haven't tried one and I won't buy one because the shape and weight don't fit my preferences. It also has a claimed 2000Hz polling rate option? forgot about that one.

Here's NVC's review:
