You don't necessarily have to: the PSU will work anyways. If you have a H100i too though, you can use the included cable with the 760i to connect it with the H100i then plug the USB cable to the H100i then to the motherboard header. This way you can communicate with both using the single header on the Impact.
Mind you, it's not that useful, you just have control over the PSU fan: you can control the fan curve, when it starts and based on what (ie system load or PSU temp). Other than that, there's not that much to control in a power supply rolleyes.gif
That digital thing it has, though, is worth all the money on its own. I wish I bought that instead of this rebranded seasonic....

Hello everyone!
Sorry for the lack of updates, but I have been quite busy with school (and my overclock biggrin.gif) and I couldn't find any spare time for you guys. Well, until now, that is.
So, where were we? rolleyes.gif

Ah, yes, the overclock. After some tweaking, I have settled for a stable 4.7GHz overclock at 1.285v. I'd call it an average overclock, seeing all the results in the Devil's Canyon owner's club (BTW: if you were to overclock your devils canyon processor, I'd definitely go there even if you're not in need of a hand, even reading just a page or two can really improve your work). If I had more time, I would have probably brought it to 4.8 or even 4.9 but mum needed her new computer - badly - for work: looks like we bought it just in time, the old macbook was just too weak to edit a huge file for her new job (so, if she didn't have Albatros, she would probably have lost the new job after 2-3 months of searching!)

The reviews are coming - once I get past some tests - so brace yourselves!

Starting off your OCN stay with a build log. Makes me feel bad I still haven't done mine. Guess when the new parts come in I'll turn my build log thread into an archive for all my builds. Nice build you have here, and nice OC.
