Like this stupid video:

This dude is using so much leverage and force, his hands are shaking. Guess what, If I put that much force into my Note 3 it's seriously going to be having a bad day. The plastic case may not break, but the screen and innards may very well break.

If you bother watching, he performs the same bend test, same pressure, on a Note 3 (best competing phone for iPhone 6, right?) and shows that the structural integrity of the Note is higher than that of the iPhone 6.

And those crowing about their phones being better because they don't bend, are right, they are better in the structural integrity area, which is something Apple should have tested before shipping anyways. This sort of defect should never have left the design table.

That infographic shows paper specs, which unless they are running the same OS and using the same parts means absolutely nothing.

Same ol hate bologna sice iPhone was launched.

Remember the haters saying, "but Apple didn't invent the touch screen. Other manufacturers have been using touch screens for quite some time. bla bla bla. Who cares?

That nexus 4 was a terrible phone, all kinds of problems. Yeah, on paper it looked good, but in the real world it just didn't deliver. So get out of here with that.

Now this has turned into an android vs iOS debate.

Apple's new phone is behind the curve.... And bends.

Apple's new phone works just fine, as have all of the ones before it.

Does it bend? In very few instances, it may bend in your pocket. Most likely those that wear tight jeans, and or sit on their phone in their back pocket. All I have seen are videos of people applying unnatural force to a product and screaming when it breaks. Those videos are the equivalent of taking a new 4K monitor, pressing your knee in the middle of the panel and pulling at the sides.

Does it bend? Of course it does, its thin and metal.

But you don't put your 4k monitor in your pocket.

Does your car bend when you apply pressure to it? Maybe if you owned a Prius.

I don't think you understood my post. I was comparing the "bend test" that everyone posts to the 4K monitor with a knee in the screen.

The pocket bend is not happening to an overwhelming amount of phones. If it were, there would be a statement from Apple addressing it, or photos of people posting it ALL over social media. Instead, people are reposting the "bend test" and a couple of instances of the phone bending in someone pocket.
