Exactly. I can't go back to playing at 30 fps(other than testing purposes)

Frame rate directly affects the gameplay, the fluidity and the overall experience. It is far more important than graphics for most of us.

Yup. Besides, many games don't look that horrid at medium/high settings these days. Certainly playable.

More like 900p 30fps. 1080 is reserved for the PS4.

Because it was a blanket statement and in certain instances 30fps is fine. Actually works better in The Evil Within.

Keyboard and mouse lags far too much on 30 fps. That's the only reason why I dislike that kind of fps for PC. I don't want to use a pad. If I did, I would have gotten a console.

It's not that simple, but evidently despite your occupational egotistic random post, you are tongue.gif

Certain games just don't require the level of fluidity. There are a huge number of games that work just fine - and look great without 60 frames per second. Uncharted series is captivating and you'd be pressed to even realise it's running at 30 FPS.

So it depends on the genre. Just makes me laugh how people get so hung up on the FPS argument, yet are obviously too short sighted anyway.

I don't agree with Ubisoft press release, so I'll pretend that wasn't sarcastic. We all get it, 60 FPS looks great, but making out it burns your eyes and refusing to play a game at it is a massive generalisation. You've missed out on a lot if that's what you really think wink.gif

Fluidity is only half of the argument, and while low frame rates are unfluid and not good at representing motion, they also add a massive amount of input latency which is very unpleasant

It works better perhaps because the engine was designed around it? There is not a single instance where a lower frame rate can be preferable to a higher frame rate when they aren't tied down to the engine.
