Thread Starter
i just replaced a few parts in my computer that included:

Asus z97-a motherboard
samsung 840 EVO series 120gb ssd
seagate barracuda 2tb hd
intel core i5 4690k
kingston hyperx ram 8gb
corsair hydro series H105 liquid cpu cooler

i installed windows onto my ssd and now windows has recognised it as the 'C:' drive but wont show the 2tb seagate drive. the reason why i bought the ssd was to run windows and a few games off it.

please help

did you go into disk management and activate the Seagate drive?

yes I go to admin tools then computer management, then select storage, then select disk management and all drives will be listed there.
then you right click on your Seagate and format it and assign it a drive letter.

it still isnt working, but when i open the bios setup at startup, it shows it there in the boot menu. i have no idea

Showing in the BIOS is a good sign, it also means its connected properly so you cables are good. What info does it give under computer management?

Windows orb > Right-click computer > Manage > Disk Management

Do you see the drive in there?
