It's annoying as heck too. I can't use the 0 RPM fan feature or else my GPU will idle at like 55C. And this is just browsing forums and what not.

try disabling GPU acceleration in the browser

I'm using 2x980 gaming for 4k gaming and they can still struggle sometimes at 4K ( but everything is maxed out ), but since you've got the TV give it a spin thumb.gif

Any ideas what caused this crashto desktop?
The cpu is overclocked to 4700ghz (i7 4790k) but the gpu was running stock speeds. Game crashed after 1 hour play today?

Looks like you had driver crash? Very very low core clock, weird usage memory amount (that happens with driver crash)

Thats probably because it was in idle when i took the picture, the core clock runs at 1520mhz overclocked all day long. Ive just tried again and it seemed ok, maybe just one of those things. rolleyes.gif

That pic shows that when your temps were ~60-65c, your core clock was only around 600 or so. Memory clocks were at 3d levels too, simultaneously

yea, driver crashes happen sometimes biggrin.gif

hi all, here I leave fire strike gave my msi 970, there are some modified bio for these beasts ???

What kind of temperatures do you guys get running firestrike? I have my card at 1510 mhz right now but it keeps hitting the throttle temp of 68c and lowering the boost clock... about to replace the thermal paste but figured i'd see what the "normal" temps were from you guys
