Hello. Any specific reason for the E5-2667 v3? It isn't exactly a great CPU for gaming. Actually it $300 4970K would actually be faster than it.

Frist of the log I like to get started to work on the the case. This case is a huge case. I never seen something so big when it comes to maximizing your computer space for a workstation.

Here a video of a Rosewill BlackHawk Ultra computer Case http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V9bNh1uJbHw

I have open and dissemble the top of the Rosewell Case and then I cut the LED lights that are needed a changed on the Rosewell Case BlackHawk Ultra Tower. I didn't like the color that were on the case. So I thought why not replace the LED lights that was a red LED for the hard drive indicator and the white LED light was Power indicator. I did replace the LED light as for the power indicator into a pruple UV color and for the hard drive it a blue LED color.

I have got the LED from ebay they are rated at 3.4 voltages and the size are 3mm unwired.

I even put Blue LED on a Blu-ray Brunner that have been painted black Ice gloss.

The soldering suction device to get the soldering off of a PCB board. Works great.

At least I know a DVD or Blu-ray works great with a 3.4 V LED lights. But they are 5V by 5mm thick LED on the ROM. So the LED that I am using are 3mm by 3v and they are reversible to 5V. They do seam little brighter on the DVD-Blu-Ray ROMS. I have bent the Blue LED back alittle so they wouldn't be so bright and pointing at the clear plastic cover guard on the Blu-ray facer panel. In this picture for some reason my phone cam doesn't really show how dark and more blueest color comparing this picture as you are standing and looking at it in person. You can used 6V to 5V LED and they work fine. So far. This 3V LED will work with the ROMs.

From this stage I went and cut some strips of felts for the rosewill blackhawk ultra case Hard drive bays by keeping them from rattleing or making any vibrations sound.

Have order some Black Vinyl from amazon. This is where the power supplies cover on top of the rear end of the case. I have coverd it with Black Vinyl on both side to prevent from air leaks.

The picture here was added light and flash so you can see the vinyl been added on. When you look at it from the sun it blends in or any other odd light it matches the case till you hit something with a up close light you can see the different.

Times for some cable sleeving and they are all double on sleevings

Did dress the audio and SPDIF cables and the USB cable that are going to the top panel of the case.

Did cut out some round black vyinl to match the back of the rosewill sticker on the back of the fans

I did completed to cut all the red LED out on the fans and did some cable sleevs and put the fans back in the case

From here I went on started working on the sound card. I needed to painted the back panel brackets flat black for the sound card so I also wanted to trun the sound card into a blue LED light up on the X-fi sound card.
I have put blue vinyl around the out side of the logo of the clear plastic square pices and then left the top pices partly not coverd around the top bracket for the logo so the light can be able to shine into the clear plastic logo.

But as seeing in this pics. I ketp the clear X-fi logo top cleared on top and colored in from a blue permanent marker from Sharpie and yes I did a sloppy job on that. But it going to be assemble back on the PCB from where the the two of 1mm white LED is on the board.

It looks alittle light blue from this pics but if you look at it in person it little darker :mad.gif

Painted flat black High Flow nvidia 780 GTX TI/ Titian brackets

Added metal sticker for fornt panel

Went on and work on the doors of the case and took out the fans grills metal screens. Fixing to be place with a glass windows and added a RGB 2M long like 6.7 foot LED strip light that havea two sided tape for you to hangn inside the door and the LED light kit that comes with a IR and a Remote up to 44Keys functions and it can change lights dims and brighten the lights. Can make it change color and have differen Fades it cool and neat and it does blinks so many different patterns. So I left it blue and very low bight light setting. It a 12v lighting system so I might just find the 12voltage from the power supplies and wire it to the IR command center that is hook up the lights and not used the 12v wall adapter from 120v home inlet that you plug in your walls for electricity.

And plus I also added black vinyl to cover all the flat square hole that was on the ring lips of the windows of the door. And the will be adding a windows for it.

Yes it a great gaming CPU and it got HT and QPI and able to share combind for another CPU E5-2667 v3 for Dual socket LGA2011-3 motherboard from another times when ready to build the next system and plus another HT and QPI from the CPU load from the 2nd CPU. It is able to do what the I7 able to do it got all the instruction set as the I7 plus few more extra. It is a work horse CPU very stable at what it can do and got support of a ECC reg rams from the memory contorller and overclocking ability for the memory rams on this motherboard plus able to overlock. You might not get all that much from Xeon from this Asus X99-E WS I am willing to just bearlying overlocking it and leave it at 3.3 GHZ for all cores and the barely upper the voltage Xeon v3. I am not much of a overlocker. The CPU got a 135watts and 8 core and 20M Cache great on power.

If I pay little extra like 128 more $ I can get a 10 core at 3.1 GHZ

I can go cheap and go get Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-1620 v3
(10M Cache, 3.50 GHz) Launched Q3'14 4 140 W BOX : $297.00
TRAY: $294.00
Select Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-1630 v3
(10M Cache, 3.70 GHz) Launched Q3'14 4 140 W TRAY: $372.00
Select Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-1650 v3
(15M Cache, 3.50 GHz) Launched Q3'14 6 140 W TRAY: $583.00
BOX : $586.00
Select Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-1660 v3
(20M Cache, 3.00 GHz) Launched Q3'14 8 140 W TRAY: $1080.00
Select Intel® Xeon® Processor E5-1680 v3
(20M Cache, 3.20 GHz)
Is about the same as I7 as going to be but support of ECC and no support of HT and QPI that is all for the V1600 family and that how the I7 was born with them.
smile.gif

I do a lot of engineering and other things that I am willing to play around and learn new things from other software and programs out there and I do use lot of video editing and plus lot of 3D arts and plus game too. It a workstation and gaming system all in one is the reason why I am going with Xeon this time.

Got my Grey Smoked Transparent Plexiglass from estreetplastic.com and drilled the holes on the door panel and bolted the socket button with wing nuts. It a lot darker than I thought from seeing through the glass.

Will be adding 8 more screw for fashion more looks wink.gif

Parts and updates

24-pins PC power extension adapter that is black cotton/polyester sheeved

Two 8-pins CPU PC power extension adapter that is black cotton/polyester sheeved
save the other one for a dual CPU setup. But for now we used one for the Asus X99-E WS setup. This cord is able to hook up two 4 pins CPU also. I guess I am workstaions ready wink.gif

My CPU HSF and my fan controller have arrived plus extra Thermalright fan clips and rubber vibration absorbers.

Glad it gave me seven of the 3 pins fans wire that you could mout on to the fan controller 5.25 drive bays that you hook up to a fan and you know I wish they gave me 8. I can link two of the wire togther to make a longer reach wire that let you hook to a fans or to a fans board and powered the fans or plus you can add all 7 wire that link together if needed a long wire. So i did used two wire to reach one of my PCB 3-pins fans splitters expandable slot baord that came with the PC case. I did order 2x 3-pins female fans ends connectors and I am about to cut two of the wire to make a female to female wire link so i can put the fan wire on the controller touch screen drive bay and hook the wire on the of the PCB 3-pins expandable slot board fans board that you can hook up to 6 fans on one power expandable slot board for adding more fans and there are two of both of the board and they both are driving the 2 Rosewill fans useing it as a two way fan spliter for one of the Lamptorn 15watts fans power controller.

The Lamptron CM615 is a great fans contorller the touch part of the screen is not that sensitive and not that great. You do kind of haves to fight your way in to be able to contorl the setting. But having a fans contorller is something you need for to contorl yours fans for nosie level and can max your fans for coolness and or set your fans at a great speed and used it for fans pressuring the computer case with the contorller and plus setting up this contorller for the CPU fans or and monitor and used setting for the temperature regulator setting for the fans speed for the coolnesss on other hardware. Can add a Lamptron software and set the right temperature to contorl list of the fans system to scale the temperature system to set the fan speed at a level so it can bring down temperature it does be able of to save all the fans setting on 6 fans and on to your 5.25 touch drive bay facer panel it have a memory that keeps your setting. So when it power goes out or you restart the PC it will be able to keep your fans setting and able to stay cool when you are loaded up. The software on the windows OS or another OS are able to contorl fans setting and temps setting from being able to go online through the internet if you want to play with the fans contorls and see your temps on your phone..But being able to have a touchscreen on a contorl panel is nice is a plus and it save your CPU setting or other setting to set your fans at a speed on the software and it neat to look at on your case and shown at night plus you can set the light to off and then to on from the drive bay touchscreen panel and can set the light to brightness to darknes on the LED display on the touch screen is a something I am gald they done added to this fan controller. A lot of people wish this Lamptron CM615 have 30 watts to provide more power when needed in a water cooling system and plus 2 more channel like 8 channel fans connections and montior 2 more temperature thermal system.

The Intel Xeon CPU heatsink is called a Thermalright 140 True Spirit Power haves a six thick 8mm heat pipe it so big that it does stay cools it does able to hook up to all the AMD and Intel sockets. Plus the fins are speard apart so air flows into the fins real lighty and more freely and cools it down. It does a wave point onto the end of the fins so it can cools it when the air flow hit the fins you can add a 120mm or a 140mm fans. I will be useing two of the fans called CRYORIG XF140 140mm PWM Sytem Fan and use the fans for the both side of the CPU heatsink Thermalright 140 True Spirit Power and that is why I bought extra thermalright fan clips for one of the fan on the heatsink plus add the 4-pin PWM fans Y cable splitter 2 male and 1 female for the fans and wired the fans together on the heatsink and then set the Lamptron CM615 temperature thermal wire system on the top base of the heatsink and let the Lamptorn montioring my CPU and fans.thumb.gif

I called this the Black Ice Blu-ray player. I have painted the Liteon Blu-ray player 12x with DVD brunner combo drive. Got firmware update and it looks like it got frostbites of black paint and got a Blue LED lights when it reads. I am thinking to sell this Blu-ray player in a few weeks on ebay.

I did peelled the sticker off of the 44 keyfanctions IR remote RGB LED light commend center box with two wire. And put black vinyl over where the sticker was pulled off and then painted two coat of flat black spray paint. Seam like the cord doesn't want to dry hard as it was painted. And it sure is sticky to touch I am thinking to wrap some black tape Tarman 1710 brand and tape over the wire and ends of the cord and then put wire sleeves and put heattube on the ends for a fix. Plus the box is dry and painted nicely and the paint is dried on the cut out black viny. mad.gif Something odd with that cord on that box.

Bought another sticker and fix the sticker. Now it is in the right position

Took the 780 GTX Ti apart and saw how the rushing assembler put on those memory pads on the card in a odd place.

So I place the pad back on the memory and put a pea size drop of Arctic Silver 5 high density silver thermal compound
The white thermal compound that was on the heatsink of the EVGA 780 GTX TI was very little and sloppy job and it seam to me little to wet and cheap of a thermal compound paste that was used on this card.

Installed black high flow brakets and back plate.

Found a sweet spot for the stock video card from an overclocking ability and flashed the video card BIOS system.
Here the BIOS for the EVGA Stock 780 GTX Ti you can flash an overclock card EVGA 780 GTX Ti as you want to or any other brand of company at a stock to overclock nvidia 780 GTX Ti video card GK110.zip 143k .zip file
This one for super engery saving with high end gaming and fliming BIOS newbios.zip 143k .zip file
Remember the BIOS is overclocked on the core speed of 954 and the memory is 1866 and Boost at 954
and it will trun your card into a 265 watts card with max voltage of 1.212v and memory ram at 1.35v and it also overlocked on Windows desktop mode at 233mhz to 1866 memory speed than the stock speed 187mhz to 390mhz that were on the BIOS. Plus fans profile been updated too.thumb.gif

The power idle of the card that is sitting at a desktop viewing internet webpages or doing other non hardwork task but watching videos or any less work field. Or just sitting there 24/7. The GPU BIOS is doing a great power consumption that regulate any scale from how the GPU processes at any workloads of it set of power and the neat of how it can do the work of GPU properly at a stable better setting of speed and voltages scale than the stock and overclock video cards from any comapany have to offer when finding the right configurational profiles and instructional used for the Kepler architecture in 28 nm size with the VRM voltages system at it giving system on the hardware and chips that are used when it needed to processes the data for the GPU on a PCB board from a stock. It uses the full GK110 chips of for that type of power for the VRM and voltages used per core from the GPU and for less heat but better power consumption for the work loaded that are indend to do for that processes for any workload for that overclocking set of setting for the Kepler. So having the right sweet spot fuction bios setting for the chips and VRMs system for the PCB and setting for the GPU to used it set of power makes a huge different in gaming and plus useing other rending processes for the GPU. Plus not only having less power but also but when it needed the power from any rendering or encoding any video or of a hardcore game or any other task for 3D arts when needed the used the full processes cores on the GPU then card is going to be able to used more power of equivalent of 265 watts of TDP then the stock BIOS that were in the 250 watts range of overclocking. The updated stock alpha BIOS system it able to perform workload on the chips at any higher faster speed that the needed more power for the graphical interface for the GPU and able to used at it getting the load and it a whole new electrical diagram system from the BIOS profiles. Plus the chip is tend to using less stress and and improved gaming style of having less shuttering tearing issue that were causing from not having the right BIOS profiles for the GPU that regulate properly voltages into the GPU chip workloads and less heat that were able to sit on a stock cooler.

The video cards are ready to go. The card able to do at a max load of 85C to 86C at all the software and game testing and benchmarking and without worrying that the card might get to hot from overloading at it werid overloaded hacked steam processesed on the GPU or any overloaded games or bug artwork and it load in a process that slow you down from overloading from different count of rendering for the GPU to processes in the screeen plus from different runtime and different runtime bugs errors that runs in the GPU to software. This BIOS seam to make the GPU a better workhorse able to bypassing some freezing and slow downs overflows and able to render some without any issue. Or any other stress level software that over rendering the hardware from any funny overheated problems and overflooding and over coding the GPU and makking a hung up or a lack of pause or cause a driver profiles reset on windows system or other OS that used the nvidia drivers. But so far nothing seam to make the GPU to have any issue with this style of over voltaging and overclocking the rams speed of 7464Mhz and timing and uppting the voltages for VRMs profile and having the profile set to used work load from range 324.0Mhz to 954Mhz core/boost 850v to 1.212v and memory range of 233Mhz to 1866Mhz x2 = 3732Mhz x2 = 7464Mhz at a max of 265 watts to 15.8 watts power consumption.

I am ready for the new Direct X 12 and extra accelerations of different level out of the cores when it comes to gaming and able to used the PCIe-3.0/4.0 to takes up it speeds and it coming soon so this make it ready for some hard core level of gaming detials in gaming and porcessing and reanding a higher scale of video details out of graphics views from the GPU that render the video details when it comes to powering up out of this cards. Can hardly wait when new windows comes out.

I would love to get my hands on black titian classy with double the VRMs on memory and GPU biggrin.gif
