i have an adata 128gb and I have 6gb left. I obviously will not put on any more, but is this okay?

Depends on your over-provision settings. If it's not zero (e.g. 10%), then it's fine. Otherwise performance and NAND health may be negatively affected.

How do I see over provision settings

It works differently for different SSDs.

If your drive is XPG SX900 (SandForce-based) then over-provisioning is on by default and you have nothing to worry about: source

My OCZ drive also had around 6-7gb left and i felt like my ssd working as hdd. I free up-to 20gb now n its kinda back to fast again. Going to buy new 256gb SSD soon for games.

The older ones, yes. The new models (Vertex 460, Vector 150) are made with Toshiba technology which enhances longevity as well as speed. Google it smile.gif.
