Lian Li TU100 heavy breather case mod. Finished! - Page 2

Any updates? I'm looking into making a TU100 build soon and I'm a little concerned about airflow with the stock layout. Where do you plan on stashing the drives?

Sorry I havent updated, I've been busy. I ended up fiberglassing the front so the bondo'ed holes wouldnt push out and to add a little dampening. I'll post some pics after I get it painted.
I wouldn't bother with this case if your not going to add any airflow. One 120mm fan just doesn't cut it. Maybe if you add a noctua industrial fan and don't overclock. It definitely needs at least some vent holes in the bottom for the GPU.

Oh, and I'm gonna have an m.2 drive under the mobo and one ssd mounted to the top of the psu.

Thanks for tge update. Yeah I figured some vents would be needed for the gpu. How much space is there available under the mobo? Think the the drive tray could be mounted back there? I'm hoping to be able to stash an ssd and a laptop drive back there somehow.

Small update. Just primed it with some self etching primer. Might need to fill some spots before I spray the high build primer.

The inside of the case is black automotive undercoating spray. It's a hard rubberish finish that should dampen the vibrations from the fans considerably.

A little something to show the texture of the undercoating. I really like this stuff. It almost completely deadens vibrations from the hard aluminum case.

Haha, looks like Rhino Liner. That's what I sprayed my case with.
