In Windows select Recovery boot, then Advanced... there's an option to reboot into UEFI settings. That's your bios.

Oh, yeah, if you have a M2 pcie drive it's different. I don't know exactly how that works, but there's special instructions out there for how to us a m2 drive with CSM

Ok so I'm very happy to say that disabling CSM and deleting the GPT partition on my external HDD have eliminated the Windows access to the HDD and boot times are 25546ms
compared to double that.

Fraps works for me, which version are you using? OBS is fine too or if you'd like to have it encoded/saved at the same time you could try bandicam ( an excellent fraps alternative).

Make sure you run either as admin, regardless of UAC, if you don't run them in admin mode they can't use game capture correctly.

I'm trying to get Speedfan to start automatically in 10. I have UAC off, set the shortcut and .exe to run as administrator for all users, and added it to the "shell:startup". Sometimes I get an error that it needs elevated permissions and sometimes I don't get any message but it never loads. Almost seems like a bug, can anyone help or have any other suggestions?

Try this link https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3krml2Hm8Sk#t=27

I have used it and set the delay to one minute, and have had no problems with it at all.

Awesome, that worked, thanks! never thought about using task scheduler, +rep!

hmm this doesn't make sense. When you disable CSM it only loads GOPs which makes it faster.

When you choose "both, legacy first" then it would use the OROM of course.. every single device out there would load this as everything has it. Few years back and probably even now some devices didn't have GOPs only ROMs (ie: GPUs) which was the only reason to mess with this.

So, my kid did something to where when you click on the start menu, it now appears different. How do I undo this?

Did they move the taskbar or something else? The taskbar can be dragged if it is not locked.

A screenshot may help.
