You should try hwinfo. Has system spec as well. Way better than hwmonitor IMO. If you see any errors his thread is here:

I was actually using Core Temp previously, but the gadget wasn't working properly. So I might have to find a new solution. So does the ones you recommend come with a gadget? I would like a simple monitor similar to Core Temp.

Another issue I am having is the Bluetooth notification. Anyone know how to get rid of that?

You are looking at "VID" there, not "Vcore". The Vcore will also be reported somewhere in the sensor window if you scroll around.

Vcore and core Voltage are the same thing and are the actual voltage the chip is recieving.
