Whatever I say represents my personal and subjective opinion
Now, since these "updates" are like a new OS, since they are like 3 and a half or 4 Gigabytes, each, then...as you can imagine, clean installation is the best way. And it is always the best way, if you can afford it. I do not use (run) so many programs so for me it is not a big deal to clean install. It takes me less than 20 minutes to install the OS + all the drivers I need. When it comes to the NVIDIA driver I perform a clean installation of it, through its installer, each time a new driver is out!
I'd suggest you to get the appropriate ISO and clean install anyway. You will then be sure that whatever issue appears will not be something you carried along from your previous setup.

So, anyone got any ideas on removing the new "connect" metro app and also how
Cortana is still sending data (According to task manager) but I have deleted SearchUI so she should not be able to run.
I have also observed a couple of new Apps. In the past, but also this time, I have uninstalled whatever I could with commands in Powershell
. For the newly added Apps I used CCleaner Pro.
Right now I am facing an issue: the App I have left (Calculator) does not update.
Cortana is now Windows Search, I think. Cortana is not available in my Region, thank God!, but I have observed something significant!! After disabling Web Search in a couple of places in my Group Policy Editor, and without having installed ANY of the known privacy tools for 10, so just with the settings in the Group Policy, my desktop searches now are NOT transmitted! When I open the Resource Monitor now and select "SearchUI.exe", I have no Network activity when I search something on my computer! I have tried it numerous times! It does not show anything. In my previous installation, when my privacy tool for 10 was inactive, each time I was searching for something, an Internet address was appearing under the Network tab.
Of course, I'll get my tool again. I use W10Privacy. I'll contact the developer first.Edited by LostParticle - 8/3/16 at 11:36am
