Getting my head around EK bridges and what's needed to SLI

Ok so I'm ordering 2 of these 670 blocks http://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-fc670-gtx.html to go onto my 970s.

I can't for the life of me work out which bridge or connections that are needed to make this work with the in and out both coming from the bottom in a parallel system.

Do the blocks come with what is needed to connect it to the bridge or is there something else needed as well?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, I've just usually ran cards in series with tubing.

cheers.

The CSQ series blocks come with the bridge link needed to connect to CSQ series bridges. They won't work with other series bridges.

For a parallel connection with both inlet and outlet at the bottom you could either use a CSQ bridge upside down ( they have dual top ports but only a single bottom port) or you would have to modify the bridge by tapping new g1/4 ports.

The blocks that you are looking at will have the correct links to let you connect to the EK bridges.

When looking at EK Bridges, be sure that you are ordering the correct one for your setup.
For example, there are 2 slot and 3 slot bridges. The difference between the two are how far apart your PCIe x16 slots are on your motherboard.
So, for the two slot, there would be one expansion slot between the two x16 slots.
For the 3 slot, there would be two expansion slots between the two x16 slots.

As shown below:
Normal Bridge (two slot):

3 Slot Bridge:

I have always used Parallel, as it allows a less restricted flow of water, as it is able to go through both blocks at the same time.

So, here are the two diffferent bridges on EK's website:
2 Slot Parallel

3 Slot Parallel

What is the distance in mm between the three slot parallel sli bridges.

I am trying to buy a csq sli bridge parallel for two gtx 980 cards on asus V rampage extreme. The two measurements I found from the websites are around 40 and 60. My mother board's first and third slots appear to be at a distance of around 80 mm.

Any guidance?

Would I have to use triple parallel with 40.6 mm apart and plug the middle one and use the first and last. That will be 81.2mm. will this fit the asus rampage slots 1 and 3.

Got both the prallel and serial triple csq bridges for dual sli in 1 and 3 slot of R5E. But having trouble as I cannot figure out a way to plug the middle holes. I figured out I cannot use the serial as water flow will be blocked if I plug the middle. Any suggestions please. Or should I discard the idea of ussing csq bridges and go for a custom loop. I like to use the bridge here though.

Just a reminder that the middle holes do not have threads.

Found the answer for the above if it helps anyone. I have to get the ekfc blank link available for parallel and plexi link blank for serial.
