Thread Starter

Thought id post this since I think its news worthy as so many people have been asking for news on a custom waterblcok for the MSI GTX 970 Gaming GPU.  It seems our questions have been answered!

This is fantastic news!

Another note of interest is that the Inno3D (ugly) card seems to use a reference 980 PCB smile.gif

bit unfortunate about that doubling of power phases on the MSI card tho... At least it doesn't appear to be impacting performance (source)

If they look anything remotely like this im loving it:

Although to be fair id buy the blocks whatever they look like, so glad now I dont have to use universal blocks.  With a custom bios seemingly inbound any moment now, couple this with a block...1700Mhz+ core anyone?

I see this on there cooling configurator about a week ago, didn't realize it was new news. It also says the same thing for a few other 970's including gigabyte's.
I should game.

The website says they only added it yesterday.

The Coming Soon ETA to be published through EK News and Social Media sites part was there a few days after release. Ive been checking back there every other day since. Perhaps it was some of the other 970's but im sure it was this one also as it is my first choice of 970.
I should game.
