Just be glad that your 970 pair is getting more PPD than my dual 780 Tis for the price of one.

Hey there.
I've been having some pretty low PPD values on my 770, as in the range of 20K. I knew something was wrong with the recent drivers some I'm currently running 327.23. Even with the older drivers, still low PPD in the same range. Any pointers on how to get this fixed? sadsmiley.gif

Have you thought of folding in Linux?
Yeah the 970 makes me both happy and sad with its folding performance. Total system draw is 220W while the card is running at 60C or so (40% fan speed at max..) and at 1427 MHz. Not sure what the total PPD since I haven't run a full day on it but it says ~220k or so. I almost want to sell my old GPUs because of the low power usage and high PPD on these 970s.

What unit are you folding?
What is your clock speed? use afterburner or similar as you may have experienced a mild crash and your GPU has reset to a lower clock speed.

You could also restart the computer, lower clock speed and wait about 20mins to see what your ppd is again.

Good luck thumb.gif

Doing Unit 13000 and my clock is currently 1175Mhz. I went off for a few hours and left it open, but I doubt I crashed, nothing on my end indicating so.

recently folding a lot of 13000's and 13001 and they're picky, got a lot of bad state errors too due to bad overclock settings.

I have a 770 also and I currently running at 1293mhz and 3800mhz on memory w/ 1212 on voltage, it's stable on these settings.

What is your setting?

1175Mhz on core, 3506Mhz on memory and 1187 on voltage.
