Two Weeks Later??? - Page 4

When you order the case, the lead time is mentioned. It would be nice if they shipped quicker, but that never happens with custom.

I think Frozen CPU stocks some of the cases and parts, but only in black.

3rd Party Vendors do not stock any of our cases. They submit your order to us and we build from scratch, just as we would if you ordered directly from us.

FrozenCPU is actually the only vendor which we do drop shipments for on a regular basis. Everyone else has the cases in stock.

My understanding is that the majority of this thread is due to the fact that CaseLabs is not hitting the lead time mentioned when individuals are ordering their case/accessories.

Personally if ordering a case that you know will take 1-2 weeks just for a single color under normal circumstances, why would you order all the rest of the components? Hope I am not coming off rude, but I know when I order items from Newegg/Amazon generally they are here in only 1-3 days. Looking at all the happy customers it seems like Caselabs really makes some awesome cases, to me well worth the wait. But I understand waiting for something your excited to build, I myself cannot wait to build my custom system with one of these cases. That reminds me, I still have to put in my order for an S5.

You are absolutely correct. For me it was finding the parts I needed on sale and at a price I couldn't pass up. For example I found 32GB of DDR4 Registered ECC RAM for $280. Usually such things go for $400-$600.

I know performance-pc's stocks cases from CL's.. They are sorta basic options but they do have some cases and do stock option parts for some as well. Frozen basically has the same order screen Cl does and they submit your order to CL after you order it from them. Im sure they get a small kick back. I opted to just order my case and customizations from CL directly. Some people can't control their want it now need it now compulsions. CL's is a boutiqe company and build to order. Anyone looking at their cases and website knows this and show expect a wait time. I went through this back in the late 90's ordering Alienware PC's, 4-6 week wait.... Only complaint I have is i ordered a optional part after the fact, the girl on the phone told me it was the right part I needed. It came and it was wrong. They still made me order and pay for the correct optional part and pay shipping again.... I think their website needs more details, explanations descriptions for the options...

I agree I think they do need a better way to show all the options they offer, if I had one complaint it would be not enough images. For 700 bucks, I want my ordering experience to be as flawless as the product, and right now it is a bit hard to tell what's what, even if they just took the existing image catalog and lay it out better so you could see like options next to each other and such.
