Extract and Flash GTX 970 and 980 Firmware - Zoson's H2O and AIR Custom BIOS - Page 11

Excellent news! I will try to increase the power limit on my standard Zotac 970.
At power table in KeplerBiosTweaker, you mentioned that you changed top two and the bottom three, but I'm not sure how much I can change them. Any ideas for a newbie? thumb.gif

Have you confirmed this works with 970 cards? So you are just changing the power target in Kbt and refreshing successfully? I really really need to do this on my 970 asus strix...

For my card, I had to change the sixth set of figures in the power table section. Check the values before you modify them. I can confirm it works but will not be responsible for any issues.

Hugs to all involved.

If your can't read then you shouldn't be flashing your card with a modded bios and a nodded nvflash.

Last time - it works

Thanks JoeDirt and welly59 for the nvflash thumb.gif

I'm playing some with my BIOSes for GTX970 right now. Max voltage ~1.31 under load, disabled boost and no real power limits but somehow clock scalling isn't as good as I was expecting. Have to work some more on the clock tables.

Boy I'm happy to raise that darn power limit! I knew I could hit 1500mhz without the power limit throwing my voltage all over the place. But get this... When I run 3Dmark Firestrike It still hits some sort of power ceiling and won't boost to the max. Even though it's well below the new power limit I set it'll still say it's power limited.

In valley this doesn't happen. While running valley the clocks and voltage are constant and there's no problem sitting up at 1500mhz.

Possibly I'm hitting a hard power limit?
