On another note, something else seems very weird. When benchmarking, things seem very "sped up". I've been getting TIME MEASUREMENT DATA NOT AVAILABLE" errors when running Firestrike and when doing the Heaven Benchmark it literally feels like its going through the scenes at a much faster pace than usual .. not sure >_<..

My cpu is a core i7 4790k @ 4.6ghz

I always gotten that error, even though i've been gaming on my MSI GTX970 @1555mhz core and 8004mhz memory since i gotten the card without issues.
CPU is a i7 4770k @ 4.5ghz btw
Even setting everything to stock gives me the time measurement not available so honestly I don't really care about that anymore.

I changed my bios to 125% power limit and 1.3v but it caps at 1.275v so that probably is the limit for the card.

First thing I noticed is that in the first benchmark of FireStrike I have some major fluctuations,
Whereas in test 2,physics and final its completely flatlined at 1555mhz.

Ill see if I can push the card to 1.6ghz with the added volts but I doubt the added heat due the higher voltage makes up for the .8 fps you gain with the extra mhz.

Thanks for reading.,

Sounds like your like me and own a Zotac Amp Omega/Extreme card. If that is true then we are out of luck because that's the OC+ limiting us on the hardware end. Only way to get any extra voltage is to use the newest version of FireStorm from Zotac. I'll be dumping this card as soon as possible to get another brand. But, that might take a while considering I'm a janitor and am supporting some other dudes kids because he is a deadbeat loser.

*I may stand corrected on this. Will update when I do more tests.

Gigabyte cards have the same issue, no voltage control

You just happen to have a higher power limit tongue.gif

I modified one the BIOS on my EVGA SC cards to 200% power-limit and applied 200% using PX, this applies fine with no problems. However, In 3DMARK PX (via the OSD) is reporting that the Power-limit is still 125% and I can see my GPU bounce off it and downclock once it hits 125%.

I am on water so no temp probs.

Have anyone verified that applying the PL above 125% actually works ?

My palit card is modified for 130% and hits 134% so works as it should.

You modified the sixth set of figures? The third value I believe

Yeah, I am going to reduce it from 200% to 150% on the BIOS file and see if that helps.
