Extract and Flash GTX 970 and 980 Firmware - Zoson's H2O and AIR Custom BIOS - Page 645

Whatever value you set in the BIOS will be what your GPU defaults to with " +0 Mhz " in AB

ty..
for anyone out there having any issues, I simple copied all settings from every tab from the air bios onto my stock bios and flashed it, and it works perfectly. my max temp I've seen yet is 72c that is with either the demo video of firestrike or Hitman 2016 where the tdp usage actually goes up to 136% of my max 285w(154%).

I can confirm that most of the issue actually comes not with the max clock speeds but the lower ones as their volt values somehow are screwed up. tweaking them a bit helps a lot in stability..of course we have out silicon lottery and every chip has a max core clock but before this custom bios, my values were 1506 and 4000 at 1.243 with huge throttling. now my throttle is none what so ever. so I'd recommend people to put more focus on understanding volt values from call 60 till 74.

permanent stable oc rom for evga gtx 970 ftw acx 2.0 don't use any oc software just flash the bios and enjoy evgagtx970ftwacx2.0-permanet-stable-max-oc-.zip 136k .zip file

I got 1500 core and 2000 memory you can pump that up a bit smile.gif

I'm even on dual cards so even with the extra heat i'm able to hit them on relatively average ASIC quality cards.

I get that clocks only with 1225.0 permanent at bios volts
and when I say 1418mhz at boost is always 1418 not 1417 not 1367 always 1418mhz

Yup i'm bumping my voltage around 1220
Thermal target of 91 as well. Does 1633 boost clock

can you post your bios???? you have the same card?? because the limit from my memory card is the value who I add and no 2000

Hi I just flashed my Palit GTX970 Jetstream sevral times and I get almost the same results as before. What might be the rason? Are Palit cards hard locked or what? In benchmarks i have higher scores but in BF4 my core was 1515mhz now is 1519mhz or maybe 15130 -something. WHAT IS THE REASON ????
The screen shows 1605mhz but it crashes. i give a link to the BIOS i edited:

ok I am gonna pretend by "same result as before " u mean no fps increments even thought you have higher clocks. cause otherwise buddy your post is very confusing.
anyways you have to understand that since every card is different, beyond a certain point there isn't any much benefit to be found. you need to find a sweet spot where you keep your temps in check and your bios needs to be volt corrected for lower freqs as well. you see over volting isn't only about max and min volt value, the reason you throttle can be 1. your temps. 2. your power limit and 3. your clock just isn't stable enough. crashes are not the only unstable indicator. I would recommend bios locking your card at your max stable freq with 60-74 clock states having a slightly higher min volts. second lower your mem oc, it's not gonna help your values much and gonna add to your temps as well.

last use all values from any bios and copy them to your stock bios then flash your modded stock. MBT doesn't show all possible bios settings but only few changes and hence don't flash anyone else's bios. copy their. settings to your own bios.

What I meant was that my stock bios was 1515mhz & with new bios i get 1533mhz. Its not worth the flashing if that is the most stable in-game settings i can get.I upped my Boost Table from 1493 to 1519mhz.I guess I need help with voltage & Boost States. I dont understand Clock States so i need help with them too.
I post a link to my bios. Please take a look and give me suggestions. My temps are the same 68-72C The bios unlocked the voltage limit i had Vrel + OVmv in GPU-Z (blue & orange) .I dont have power limit. My stock bios highest oC in BF4 (in beches i have much higher OC) were core:1515mhz (+106 offset) & RAM:+750mhz offset. Now i get 1519mhz with the same RAM offset. yes this is how i edited my bios and flashed it back.I upped the voltages from 70 to 74 not 60 to 74. And how, slightly high above what? My volts are 1.3v (was 1.262mv)
Any other suggestions?
BTW what is utilization limit? i have that
And my metho of flashing: I use NVFlash_Certs_Bypassed_v5.265_x64 & drop the bios over the nvflash64.exe with the mouse. I dont use any commands.I think thats the easiest way but Ik new in GPU b.flashing.Although I have over 10 years PC experience now so i know whats what.
p.s. Yesterday i had a friendly tournament (Battlenight) & the card crashed in the middle of it. After that my performance just was bad.
