Here is the Asus Rampage V Extreme from start to finish. Although I am highly disappointed to learn that the EK Monarch Ram Waterblocks are NOT compatible with Corsair Dominator DDR4 ram. The website is very misleading in saying they are but this is one range that deffo isn't. Trouble is I purchased this ram when it first came out so I am not sure I can exchange it now. If I can I will of course install a new set with the waterblocks. I am not paying another £300 or more for some new ram.

Here are the panels fitted in the first trial. I have ran into a couple of problems which I am hoping to overcome this week but this may delay things by a few days.

This is going to sound totally noobish, but if anyone has the Cosmos 2, do you know what the best way is to mount the 240mm rad at the front of the bottom compartment? I am stuck!

This is an extremely tight squeeze!!!!!!!! I am still shocked at considering how big this case is, how much of a pain in the ass it is just to stick 2 rads in!

Using the Dremel and a file I have gind away the small raised slots that were holding the Cooler Master lock buttons for the optical drives on the front side of the case. I will be mounting an airbrushed piece of acrylic to this panel to cover the holes and give it a nice finish.

This is shaping up to be gorgeous! Love the custom airbrushing, I've never really been a fan of the Cosmos II, but you are making this one look excellent.

On a side not, I am almost certain there is no water blocks that will work with the Dominator Platinum ram sticks, I ended up selling mine and getting Vengeance Pro's because the Dominators have a completely custom PCB, that is larger than ordinary sticks...to my knowledge I am not aware of any compatible blocks (Someone please correct me if I am wrong).

I look forward to seeing some more updates to this build! thumb.gif

Thanks guys I am very pleased that you like the progress so far. It's nice to hear that when you put a lot of time and effort into something that gets appreciated by not just me but others to. Makes it all worth it.

As for the Dominator Platinum ram sticks that was such a fail. I should have done some more research on that but the trouble is I bought the ram a while ago and it's now past the return date so I am stuck with them. If I could get a lot of the money back for them I would sell them and get some ram that is compatible with the blocks I got but there is very little DDR4 ram to choose from at the moment and that's half the trouble. Bloody annoying!
