Thread Starter
I plan on buying a pair of which ever one i end up choosing.
My spec specs are
2700k 4.8oc
16gb ddr3 ram

My monitor is the LG 34UM95-P 3440x1440
I will be playing all the latest games and am looking to max them out. Bf4, shadow of mordor, Titanfall etc

2x Msi lightings i can get for $600 & 2x Msi 970 gaming editions i can get for $710
Comes down to 3gb vs 4gb am guessing
thanks OCN ! thumb.gif

R9 290 crossfire(if the psu supports 605w load) or a 970GTX

get the 970s the extra VRAM is definitely useful at your resolution and the 970 is faster than 780.

A 290 crossfire can be bought for 500usd (check msi r9 290) and it comes with 3 free games and a steelseries siberia v2 free.this would better than a 980gtx by 20-30%
