SSD upgrade for Retina MacBookPro?

I have long chafed under the limitation of 256GB of SSD. I recently got SPAM from RamJet offering a 960 GB SSD upgrade. I have been unable to find any mention of the Ramjet product anywhere except their web site. I've dealt with them in the past. Is this likely to be a solid product?

I have also seen a similar product from Transend, who I have never heard of. Some people say less than nice things about them. Their 960 GB product is $100 cheaper. Is is likely to be solid?

Lastly, apparently OWC also has a product, but their web site is really off-putting. What about these guys?

One more thing. I have seen several comments that the Transend product was slower than the original SSD. That is a deal killer if true.

Is there really no one who can help me with this?

From what I can tell, OWC is the only reputable choice. It's not likely to be noticeably slower.

You can find more information about MacBook Pro SSD upgrades at everymac.com.

Unfortunately, they do not offer a 960 and any less would not be worth it.
