Didn't think it would take this long.. I thought it would be 2-3 hours, but 6+? Then again, there's only 150gb free and most of it hasn't been used in over a month since I mainly play two games lol.

Has it taken this long for anyone else?

EDIT: Ok it just went from 93-100% in like 5 minutes. I didn't get a prompt to shutdown though. Not sure if you're supposed to or if it did that on its own while I was afk.

Just ran an AS SSD benchmark. Looks ok to me unless people have different results:

C'mon people, STOP using as ssd to test this issue. Its not gonna tell you anything

Use SSD Read Speed Tester http://www.overclock.net/t/1512915/read-speeds-dropping-dramatically-on-older-files-benchmarks-needed-to-confirm-affected-ssds
its the only way to really test this. AS SSD and similar tools make a new test file, so obviously slow speeds wont present themselfs.

It took that long because it had to re-write all your data as part of the process, you had a lot of data.

And obviously access to that data was very slow (due to the bug itself) so it kinda explains the long times thumb.gif

Worked A+ for me, big thanks to the OC community for making me aware of the issue to begin with a while ago!

running a sfc /scannow just in case (edit: was fine also!). The HD Tune sector test found no problems. c:

edit: forgot to mention, I had to re-roll my sata controller driver to the windows default one, but no problem with that and switching back to the AMD supplied one, after. Just the usual device manager stuff.

Well I didn't know about that little program.

Here's my results though:

Also ran HD Tune and got 0 errors. Everything looks A-OK thumb.gif

Just ran the firmware update and the Performance Restoration software. Here are the results:

Before: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

After: Warning: Spoiler! (Click to show)

Notice how also the Error Scan on HD Tune took twice as long before the fix.
