We made timing adjustments to the SX600-G last year that enables it to support a Titan Z. All SX600-G V1.1 and after has this adjustment implemented. You can see Falcon Northwest has been using the SX600-G in their "Tiki Z" machines since last year as well.

I would have thought, since Chieftec already requested this change to the OEM Sirfa/Highpower, that this is something maybe forced on Silverstone?

Anyway, most of the whining was about caps in the SX600-G not the SX500-LG. From JG review ... "Su'scon capacitors on the secondary. Those, I consider third tier parts and I will be removing the entire allotted build quality point for capacitors based on that."

The SilverStone units are already different than the others due to the semi-fanless feature, different fan, and different pinout, but I imagine Chieftec touting all Japanese caps was enough to push management at SilverStone to give the ok.

You're right, I'm getting the 600W and 500W confused, but it's still nice to see the upgrade smile.gif

I'm running a SX600 right now and its silent. My CPU cooler fans are louder. Setup is within sig.

You won't be able to buy a black one but easy to paint with a spray can.
