Attempting to make a Kinzuadder.

Hi guys, as the title implies, I'm in the process of frankensteining a Kinzuadder together.
I'm using a Kinzu v2 Pro, and a 3G v2 1800 DPI DA, what I would like to know, is which wires need to be soldered to where? every picture I look at, I just cant quite make it out, and so far I've only seen about 2 that have the brown PCB from the Kinzu v2 Pro.

I also plan to change the TTC switches to some D2FC-F-7N Omrons (Do I need to modify these particular switches in any way for them to work?), and change out the sensor led to a red one, this should be pretty interesting.
Would like Thunda's (and Thunderbringer...are they the same dude?..) imput in particular, and anyone else who has had experience making Kinzuadders, it would be very much appreciated.

Edit: Also yes Thunderbringer, I am already onto another mod after failing my G502/CMO frankenmouse dismally ha hah!

My advice:

Good solder/flux. Don't cheap out or it will just end up in the trash.

Yes I am aware of the importance of some good solder/flux, and how well it is applied, thankfully there really isn't too much wiring that needs to be done for the Kinzuadder, the attempt at splicing PCB's from the CMO to the 3366 PCB, was a bit of a pain in the rear, and I ended up forgetting to change the pin out on the usb cable that I borrowed from my IME 3.0, and I fried a component on the 3366 PCB sad-smiley-002.gif

Thanks for the reply mate (And sorry about the confusion ha hah!)...Now I'm just looking through the pin outs, and wondering how I'm gonna go about wiring this up, and whether I should keep the DPI switch or not...The DA PCB that I'm using came from a PC Bang Edition, so it never had any mouse button 4 or 5, I'm unsure as to whether you can just wire up the DPI switch from the Kinzu to any of the free unused slots on the DA PCB or what?..Or whether it would be better to just remove that TTC switch altogether and ground the connection?

As of now, I'm just going to cut the PCB into shape, and change the LED to a nice bright red one, make sure it all fits nicely in the shell, maybe swap some of the TTC switches to Omrons while I'm at it.

In my opinion, the sensor position is at the highest priority, thats why i would remove the DPI switch and cut the button PCB in order to move the sensor further up. Because to me the native kinzu sensor height makes more sense/feels much better.

However you would need to wire all the switches and the wheel-encoder manually. Priorities.. rolleyes.giftongue.gif

not sure if i undestand your question..
Kinzu v1 sensor into Xai and kinzuv2 is possible/just a swap (wheel-encoder/switches). But swapping it into g100s/g400s is rather problematic due to the wheel encoder - optical/mechanical difference.

the issue im faceing with xai is where to i put in comm1 pins? or i just pop off the sensor from the pcb itself?

PC bang edition?
do you have some pics of the PCB, to see if you can actually use it for a kinzuadder?
because if it's the cheap version from a DA2013 you probably can't build a kinzuadder with it, as you can't with the DA2013's.

Here are some shots of the PCB, let me know what you think of it, whether it will be of any use or not (also I have cut it to fit into the shell better).
