With how little they have supported AMD on PC assuming anything about AMD is a terrible idea with this title.

If the performance gap has closed it isn't by much.

4. Makes you feel like an F1 driver with ERS and DRS
5. Faster in a straight line than the 918 and probably the LaFerrari while also being great in corners

Why wouldn't people like the P1. It takes a lot of inspiration from older supercars and packs them into a much quicker and refined package. It may not want to kill you, but it will absolutely destroy all but a handfull of cars on a track.

Most of this is true, however.

The 918 is faster off the line, thanks to awd, and they are about equal till 150 mph where the p1 will pull ahead by a huge margin.

I can't find any real data on the Ferrari, really all the cars are about equal.

Now if you want a true hyper car check out the Koenigsegg Agera.

We're offtopic but Idc Koenigsegg stuff is absolutely amazing. They are using 3D printing to build parts that are impossible from a design perspective unless you can manufacture from the inside out (think of it like bone-structure/growth; making the ligaments already connected to tissue while it is being formed). If these guys had more R&D money to work with they would take over the motorsports world completely.

Let them take their time, I love how this game is shaping up. Get it right at launch and not rush *cough* bf4 *cough*

"The change in release date allows the game the greatest chance of success and visibility"

I have a feeling this is the real reason and not much more polishing will be done.

The cool part about the 3 major hypercars is that they all use very different systems. It reminds me a lot of the current LMP1-Hybrid cars. The P1 is a RWD hybrid with ERS and DRS. The 918 is a traditional hybrid with 4 wheel steering and AWD. The LaFerrari uses a system very similar to the the LMP1-H cars that recharges the electric motor under braking and shifting, but is only good for a certain amount of time. In theory, the 918 get's the jump off the line, the P1 and Ferrari would pull ahead, and the Ferrari would probably pull slightly ahead till the electric power runs out. Then again, Ferrari would just not show up to the drag race anyway like they did with Autocar. On a track the 918 is going to be the best, and it's pretty obvious the P1 was slower around the Nordschleife since they never posted the actual time of their lap. Yes, the Agera and especially the One:1 are great, but they crashed their main test car quite badly testing it. They originally said they would post the time around the ring regardless of time, but we still haven't seen or heard about it.

All of those cars are still no match for the Pagani Zonda R apart from the P1 whose lap time is even more impressive.

Thing is a racing car not street legal? The hybrid super cars being discussed are cool you can get good mileage out of them or they would not be able to enter a lot of euro cities. You flip the dial and they go from gallons per mile to miles per gallon biggrin.gif I'm exaggerating but yeah. There's a lot of race cars that don't bother with bridge times.

Um, what? The Zonda R is a track only car, and the P1 never posted an official lap time on the Nordschleife except for "under 7 minutes". The 918 posted their actual time of 6:57 which almost guarantees it was faster than the P1. The Huayra is the top Pagani in terms of street cars, but it's not as fast as the top cars. They even cheated on their Top Gear time.
