Not only that, but it's against the rules, and well, we are a computer enthusiast based forum and aren't a political site. Sorry
You know something...who does own this site? This no politics rule is getting pretty ridiculous considering the political poop storm we live in today IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO TECHNOLOGY.
It's not subject to change. This rule has been here since I joined and most people have been okay with with it. Like receiver said again, there are plenty of other forums that do offer political discussions. You are more than welcomed to discuss it there, but just not here. Anyway, if you or anyone else have any further questions, feel free to pm me and I'll reply ASAP.

Besides focusing on how this can be done is much more important than ranting about the ethics of someone else having the ability to do this.
There is nothing you can do to stop the snooping. It's going to happen, it's been happening for quite sometime. I already knew everything was tapped long before it went mainstream and it will continue to happen. This is because they can and they know they can get away with it. Putting encryption won't prevent them from snooping it. They snoop up everything. It will just prevent them getting easy access to your data. You can have some
control over your data but not complete control sadly.
You can use VPN/Trucrypt/linux/Tor/ and use duckduckgo instead of google.
