2nd for a mechanical keyboard if your sound and visuals are A-O.K., I've gone through many membrane keyboards before I finally bought my Ducky shine III. One of my more favorite purchases smile.gif

Is there anything I can do to upgrade ram?

does your game demands more than your current 8GB can give? I ran 2 x 8GB sometimes and the difference between it and my current 2 x 4GB in games is minimum as far as I can say.

Honestly onboard sound is good enough for most people nowadays unless you're running a 7.1 surround setup or something like that (or an audiophile). Normal 2.0, 2.1 or headphone for gaming onboard is good enough.

TBH, we're driving in the same lane towards that heavenly place they call "You NEED to upgrade". Probably got our stuff at about the same time (about 2-3yrs ago or so). Personally I cannot at this time justify upgrading any of the core "guts" of my system. Everything works A-OK. Gaming is fine I get good framerates, no screen tear or funky stuff happening. My upgrade plans in the next 1-2yrs will probably look something along the lines of this.

27" 1440p monitor (ROG Swift??)
Change the Kuhler CLC to maybe a H220X or something else with a 240 rad for better CPU cooling.
New mouse and keyboard
Swap out the stock fans that came with my case for better ones
Try to get my hands on a windowed side panel for my CM Stormtrooper
LED strips for interior "mood lighting" -- Wierd thought... has anyone ever seen a little mini-disco ball dangling in anyones case before??

So nothing outlandish (aside from the Swift), mostly just aesthetics.
