Blue screen error after swapping ram - Page 3

well there is a small problem. which is that 1 stick is running slower than the other.

this is running can/is the proper speed for 1600mhz

this is running proper speed for 1333mhz

this one shows what speed your ram speed is for both the cards being thats is set for dual channel. which is at 1333mhz.

try setting each stick manually. you can also try the other two dimm slots on the mobo for the ram.

i doubt its a bios issues but it might be.

I bought both sticks as singles and after seeing that just took them both back to best buy.
Swapped my Corsair sticks in and XMP brought them right at 1600.
I ordered a second set of the corsair.

Thanks for the help.

aww i was thinking they might be. be didn't ask as you had said it was a 2x8 kit(next time please specify if its 1x8 x2 ). but yea thats the problem. with your new set just memtest it. make sure they are good. redo your OC and your all set to go.

That memtest is a new tool to add to my arsenal. If I could double rep you for your help I would.

Thanks again.
