Origin Jumpworks GmbH M50

Introduction:

With the upcoming launch of Star Citizen I have chosen to celebrate the return of the glory days of PC gaming with a new build completely inspired by my favorite ship from the game, the Origin Jumpworks M50.

https://robertsspaceindustries.com/comm-link/transmission/14033-Hangar-Ready-The-Origin-M50-Racer

The compact and sleek design of the M50 is what this build will encompass entirely. All parts will be top of the line high end components which will be overclocked and mounted in the smallest enclosure possible, in this case, the Silverstone FT03 known for its small footprint and excellent thermal design.

Until I can get around to rendering the case the concept is as follows, the internal color scheme will be red and black, a window will be installed on the side for viewing the internal comments much like the transparent engine covers for the engines of the M50.

The build must utilize SLI graphics cards to mimic the appearance of the twin hammer engines of the M50.

The cables will be sleeved individually with paracord in an alternating white and red color scheme, and the inside of the case will be black and red.

The exterior will be painted in a similar scheme to match the Origin M50, however it is unknown at this time if I will do any physical modifications such as ducts or wings due to my final condition.

The final condition of the build is to be 100% air cooled, this is due to my desire to take it on airplanes as carry on luggage to overseas lan parties and the FAA does not allow for liquid in sealed or unsealed containers on aircraft.

All fans will be dyed Noctua fans. The lower fans of this case will be enlarged from 2x80mm fans to 2x92mm fans in order to increase airflow. Custom air flow straighteners will be mounted to these dual 92mm fans and will also employ a Noctua D-15 CPU heat sink in order to further give off a compact and efficient appearance.
