Server Upgrade

Thread Starter
I currently have a server that is running Windows Server 2003 that manages the phone system for the apartment building. I would like to upgrade this 1U server to a Lenovo ThinkServer TS140 because the current server is LOUD 24/7.

What would be the easiest way to create an exact clone of the current hard drive so I could toss it in the Lenovo server. Are there any problems trying to keep the database from the current setup and transferring it to the new one?

I use Cisco Call Manger for the phone system.

Vmware and VmWare Converter should do the job just fine.

Try Acronis, free and will do a clone of your drive. You may have to install drivers and boot into safemode on first boot

The current setup also has a raid in it. Would it be hard to move the raid to the new server?

I used vm converter to solve my problems. I love that program!
