Help! "Couldn't Open Drive"

I came home from school and I need someone to tell me if this can't be fixed or how to fix it.

Your motherboard is not recognizing the HDD.Try unplugging the HDD and plugging it back.

NTLDR is the file that sits in the root of your C:\ drive and literally loads the system when you power up.You can find a copy of this file from another computer( also get NTLDR.COM just to make sure) and paste it into the 'sick' PC(you may use a Live CD or use the recovery feature and use CMD-Windows 7).You can find it in C:\. Make sure you tick "Hidden files and folders" and untick "Hide extension for known file types".

P.S: These steps are for Windows 7.You may need to adapt them for other Windows versions.

You can also use Windows 7 Install CD to repair the system.This is the fastest way you can get rid of your problem.
