Confusing OC result... help?

OK i have looked into OC my laptop GPU... nothing major but slight; its a GTX 870m Nividia. But i have been looking at the results besides the normal i have strangely gotten a result of using 0% of my GPU at all times... i was wrong. Whats weird its giving me a number that would not show up. 4,294,967,296% of the GPU is being used sometimes and it drops back to 0%. is there something wrong internally? or am i messing up... Games run fine mostly. i have been having an issue with freezing unrelated to the GPU. i think. I'm new to this. Any experienced people out there willing to give me a shot at some help?

4,294,967,296 is exactly 2^32, so that's some software bug.

What program are you using to OC it? The Nvidia control panel? If that isn't working out, you might want to give MSI afterburner a shot.

i am currently using MSI afterburner on a MSI computer. Well i don't know if its causing a problem i just uped the threshold to show the clocking in general. I'm also having additional issues. without overclocking it wont use the GPU in total. oddly... any game really but i just played LoL and i got a max usage of 60% and down to 0% average around 40% and normal dips to the 15-20% anyways the issue is it keeps dipping and freezing quite often. resulting in deaths over other games also. is there a fix for that? ok in simple i am running a MSI GT70 dragon-2202. (specks) but handling LoL should not be an issue for this computer. do you know any fixes for this issue as-well?

edit- could it be a bottle neck? i have the i7 2.8 processor...
