Middle Earth Shadow of Mordor ultra hd pack

I have a 780 TI 3GB which can't handle this game with the ultra hd texture pack, which requires a minimum of 6GB vRAM
so if i add another 780 TI 3GB as a SLI setup, can i enable the ultra hd pack? or it will be the same results?
thank you.

Same results. Vram doesn't stack, so you'll still have 3GB. The 6GB requirement takes into account 4K resolution scaling as well as far as I know.

thanks for the reply, another thought if i buy AMD r295x2 with 8GB that's will help me to run the game or still the same issue as sli setup?
Is there an 8GB version of the r295x2? Because like nvidia's SLI, AMD's Crossfire doesn't stack vram, so it will be 4GB for each of the two GPU's. Some have reported in that thread that 4GB is just enough to run the HD pack at 1080p. I wouldn't spend money trusting that though.

I'm trying to acquire 6GB 780's right now. They are overpriced though.

I think the game's developers must be clear about this ultra hd pack and instructed to have a titan GPU only,
because the 780 6GB special edition is very rare.
so no point to add this option for any future games unless they have the needed available hardware on the markets for end users.
thanks.

You can do just fine with a 4GB card. I've heard 3GB cards are more or less ok but stutter quite a bit at Ultra.

I know that and stutter and lagging are the most annoying things even worse than 30 fps locked game.
