For Sale:
15.6" Eurocom-Branded P150EM. 3920XM, 680M, 16GB, 256GB + 512GB SSD [Price Drop]

Will Ship To: US50, US48, CA

*EDIT 10/26/14* - Huge price drop because I finally got all the pieces for a primary desktop, and will no longer need to use this as my main computer. I feel that this is a good price, but I am also open to negotiations and partial trades.

Looking to build a nice X99 system!. However, in order to fund that I will need to sell my gaming laptop that has served me faithfully for quite some time. I am going to try to be as descriptive and honest as I possibly can be:

I purchased this laptop used from the original owner and he ordered it directly from Eurocom. Pricing for the laptop originally came out to $2,900 plus tax, so it was definitely a pretty penny spent! Both the previous owner and myself are non-smokers, so this laptop does not have any kind of funky smell or anything, so we are all good on that front!

Specs:
Operating System: NONE! - BUT, I will provide you with a 100% legit, 100% unused key for Windows 8.1 Pro.
Intel Core i7 3920XM @ 2.90GHz (this is their Extreme Processor)
nVidia GTX 680M 4GB
16GB Corsair Vengeance 1600MHz RAM
256GB SSD mSATA Primary Drive
500GB SSD SATA Crucial storage drive (recertified, however, but works great)
1080p Screen (currently I have a cheaper matte-finish screen installed, but I DO have the original higher-quality glossy screen)
Webcam, backlit keyboard (with about 8 customizable colors and patterns), fingerprint reader
Killer Wireless-N 1103 Extreme network adapter
Blu-Ray Read/Write drive
8-Cell (I think?) battery
HD Audio, blah blah blah.

Anyway, it is in great shape EXCEPT for one small plastic hinge cover that is UNDER the hinge, so it is actually difficult to notice - BUT! It is missing (well, technically I still have it - it just doesn't stay in the laptop).

And, being the honest guy I am I would like to tell you all any and all quirks about the machine:
1. The trackpad is TERRIBLE. For some reason, they decided to make the trackpad out of soft-rubber, which is just stupid. While typing, the trackpad WILL detect your palm and make you cursor jump around the screen. However, given that this is a gaming laptop, I never use the trackpad so it is not an issue for me.
2. The speakers, while toted as "Onkyo HD", are lackluster. It has a "subwoofer", but let's be honest here: it's a laptop and it sounds like one
3. The matte screen really is a cheap one - I bought it for $65 online to replace the Glossy one for two reasons: One, it had a few defects - not dead pixels, but "bright spots". Two, it desperately needed a color correction, but I was not in the mood to go through the process of color-correcting my screen and loading custom profiles, etc.
4. Being a gaming laptop the battery is about two hours MAX if you are just surfing web, but this is to be expected, right?
5. The charger is big, but this should go without saying.

About the screen: Like I stated above, the stock screen needs color correction via software in order to look realistic. I wanted a matte-finish screen anyway, so I just bought a cheapo matte-finish off of eBay. I still have the original glossy one and it will be included free of charge (obviously).

About that trackpad: If you look closely, you will see in the photos a film covering the trackpad. I bought a cheap screen protector for cell phones and cut it to fit over the trackpad. I did this because Eurocom (Clevo, actually) stupidly designed this laptop with a soft-rubber trackpad which is just atrocious. By using the screen protector, it actually feels pretty nice, although looks silly.

Warranty: None!

Payment: I guess PayPal would work best? I prefer Amazon Payments, but no one ever seems to use that.

Shipping: I will package this like a newborn baby and ship it with care. I will ship to US and CA - NO EXCEPTIONS!

Return Policy: None! As soon as this puppy gets delivered to your door, I'll be spending the money received on some sweet new X99 gear, so your money will be SPENT! Ok fine, if something happens like DOA then yeah, I'll refund you. But seriously the laptop is flawless so that's not going to happen. Insurance WILL be provided with shipping, so if anything happens in-transit a claim will need to be made.

Locals: $100 discount if you want to meet in-person and pick it up! I'm located in Orange County, CA.

Any other questions - just ask!

*EDIT* - I struck out #3 because I just put the original screen back into the laptop. I did not realize this when I was using it, but the laptop has a 95% Gamut glossy screen. I was able to find a few pre-done color profiles online from Sager, as well as a few from forums and loaded them up. I'm happy to say that the screen is now much better, and an absolute joy to look at. There still is a a "bright spot" line on the screen, probably from a bit of pressure applied to the back of the casing, but it is hardly noticeable when the laptop is being used regularly smile.gif

I also heavily adjusted the trackpad settings in the driver software so the cursor does not jump around while typing as much (cut it down by about 90%), but the feel of the pad still sucks because it's soft rubber frown.gif

Hello, please help! I want to buy a SSD in a laptop DNS Extreme, motherboard Clevo P150EM - my laptop model is very similar to the model EUROCOM P150EM Racer 2. People say that there is only one connector supports SATA III speed equal to 6 gigabits / sec and the size of SSD, which can be put there in this case, is also the only one - is 2.5. "Tell me, where can I find information about what the SATA connectors on the motherboard on which speeds work (SATA III - 6 Gbit / s or SATA II - 3 Gbit / s) ? I would not like to clean DVD-RW drive, also have in my laptop connector mSATA - is a pity that the speed of this connector is unknown to me. What do you choose the SSD-drive SATA 2,5 '' or SSD-drive mSATA?
