I was hungover one day when I was younger and I decided to skip class and stay home ... played BF2 and got sea sick from being on a boat. Dramine at a pharmacy for less than $5 and was fine. the good kind makes you sleepy but they make a non-drowsy formula too.

I doubt they make a monitor targeted for motion sickness. it's not like they can say "hey we simulate lack of motion." redface.gif

I would just go to Best Buy and look at all the displays and see if any are there that don't bother you as much but that might be an issue since the displays play movies.

Living in the uk, I could have see for my self though. I thought mybe higher res or higher refresh rate could help, especially looking to buy a monitor.

http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2194821/120hz-nausea-motion-sickness.html

Google says you're SOL unless you can figure out what exactly makes you sick and enable/disable it (hence the go to store and look at the displays advice).

For the most part they just say disable motion blur, enable vysnc, and keep it above 60fps/hz.

A higher refresh rate will not help motion sickness.
Here are some tips to help reduce it.

1) Increase the FOV to 90 or higher in games.
2) Turn motion blur off.
3) Invest in a flicker free monitor.
4) If you can't invest, limit yourself to 60Hz.
5) Play in well lit area.
6) Make sure your eye level is higher than the top part of the screens bezel.
7) Increase viewing distance between your eyes and the screen.
9) Reduce brightness.
10) Take regular breaks, around 15 mins for every 45 mins of gaming, and don't play if tired.

Could also be head bob in games, that has a tendency to make some people sick. I will also concur that I don't think a change in monitor will reduce the problems of motion sickness. Maybe if your monitor has really bad blur then a low blur monitor would help but you will want to confirm that motion blur is your issue by turning it off in a game and on again changes how you feel enough. Seems unlikely that alone is the issue anyway and game settings to remove motion blur, blur from AA and any form of artificial movement like of guns or the head bob will most likely be the problem.

So far thanks for your responses. Motion blur was something I never turned it on (I dont like it in games anyways).

This is my thinking to maybe help myself as well. Not sure if it's true though.
I think when am gaming at 24" 1080p because 1080p doesn't offer wide viewing angles and details far ahead (motion blur kickes in)I tends to move the mouse around a lot i think, making me feel sick and kind of dizzy as well. That been said maybe a 1440p monitor which offers details and pictures appear smaller improving viewing angles would help (I dont know if this is a fact and can help).

i have same problem, hard time playing 1st person games. this is why unless it's a title i really want, i usually go for 3rd person games. but for some reason car racing games are fine for me. i don't think any monitor will help. there is really no cure for this.
