It was one of the best gamble purchases I have took in a long time and it really paid off. If you buy from Ebay, you can buy a square trade warranty on them which is a 3 year warranty for like $50 or something like that.

I don't game and 16:10 feels so much more useful to me than 16:9 displays. For a network admin, trust me it makes a difference.

looking at these monitors, what would you suggest? I have 2 23" monitors right now running of my sig rig. I'd like tp upgrade, one of my monitors has a bunch of stuck pixels. Will a 290x run 2 or 3 of the the Q270s? Will I b e able to play games across 3 of them or would it be better to buy 2 and play on 1 and internet, teamspeak, movies, etc on the other?

I would go for an HP if I needed another workstation monitor.

lol I think you're underestimating the power of 1440p, 1440p has %77 more pixels than 1080p, that's an extra %77 pixels that your GPU has to process, You'll get 60 frames if not less in most if not all games on a single 290X on a single 1440p on ultra. When you talk about three of them, that's more pixels than 4K, look at 4K benchmarks for a single 290X and then subtract frames (not to mention you'll need an adapter)
